I apologize for the long time since the last update. My old
computer crashed and I finally have a new one. So, here we
go!
The Lions just celebrated
thier 60th year of service to our community.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support
you have given us over the years. We look forward to another
60.
To celebrate our 60th year we had a commemorative pin struck. it
is of our covered bridge. They will be available for sale,
$3 ea. plus $2 shipping + handling. When I get a chance I will
get a pic posted of the pin. If interested email me at the link
at the bottom of this page.
New Tractor Show Schedule
is up! Be Sure to check it out!
We Started an Antique
machinery club focused on the Tractor Show. Right now we have 16
members. It is called "Laurel
Highlands Antique Power Club". We would like to
expand the show grounds. Once the sawmill is done we would like
to start working on a real working railroad! But, to get this
acomplished we need like minded people who want to see something like
this happen in our area. The addition of a railroad would truly
make our show a premier event in Western Pa.! So if you are
interested in joining, drop me an email or give me a call.
The
area where the sawmill is to go has been timbered and will be prepped
for the mill.
Thanks to John and Rochelle Toth we now
have six new sets of bleachers at the track area.
Thanks to the Laurel
Highlands Antique Power Club we have been getting much accomplished and
it will be a posoitive addition to the show. We have a
great bunch of hard working people in the club.
If
you have some nice photos of the show this past year and you would like
to see them on the tractor page, email them to me in jpeg format and I
will try to get them posted.
Hope To See YOU at our Events!!!
